National Association of Commodores for the
U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary
NATIONAL AWARDS
The National Association of Commodores administers three (3) National Awards, they include the following:
- Flotilla of the year Award, sponsored by Boat/U.S.
- Best Flotilla in Vessel Safety Check and Marine Dealer Visits, sponsored by the Marine Retailers Association
- Best Flotilla in Public Education, sponsored by The National Boating Federation
Anyone in a Flotilla can submit an award application. The chain of command must be followed, starting with the Flotilla Commander. The Commander than submits the application to the Division Commander. The Division Commander submits the application to the District Commodore who has the responsibility to choose the best qualified application in each category from all applications submitted and forward them to the NAC Award Chairman no later than May 31. Only three (3) applications, one for each category, can be submitted per District. The winning Flotillas will be announced at NACON.
